Core Philosophy: Your Private Mental Sanctuary
RYZE is designed to be your private, digital second brain. It's a space where you can be brutally honest with yourself to foster genuine growth. Your data is yours alone—stored only on your device, never on a server. The AI coaches act as reframing tools, helping you see your challenges and goals from new perspectives.
Getting Started: Setup & Onboarding
Installing RYZE as a Progressive Web App (PWA) from your browser's menu ('Add to Home Screen') is highly recommended for an app-like experience.
Your first step is completing your Profile. This includes setting your name, choosing a language, and most importantly, selecting an AI Role Model. This persona will define the tone and thematic language of the entire app.
You must provide your own Google Gemini API key. This is the core of our privacy model—we process your data with your key, on your device. You will also set a 4-digit PIN, which is required to encrypt your data for manual backups.
Dashboard
Your mission control. It provides a high-level overview of your journey.
Header Card
Displays your key wellness metrics, active quest count, and victories. Click on a metric to get a detailed AI analysis.
Example: If you see a high 'Stress' score, clicking it will open an analysis from your coach explaining the potential reasons and suggesting a micro-quest to manage it.
Active Quests
Your main focus area. Manage your Quests, add Tasks, and track your progress. The AI can suggest both long-term 'Life Quests' and 'Abstract Quests'.
Example: You can manually create a 'Learn Guitar' quest, or let your coach suggest a 'Financial Foundation' life quest based on your long-term goals.
Daily To-Do List
For small, daily tasks that don't fit into a larger quest. Items here are simple and have a deadline.
Example: Quickly add 'Call the plumber' with today's date as a deadline to keep track of small but urgent tasks.
Oracle Panel
Seek high-level guidance from your AI mentor. It analyzes your entire profile to provide strategic advice on where to focus your energy.
Example: If you're feeling stuck, click 'Seek Guidance'. The Oracle might analyze your low energy and suggest a quest focused on improving sleep rather than starting a new, demanding project.
FAQ Panel
Ask your 'Guide' (thematic sidekick) questions about how to use the app's features.
Example: Type 'How does the journal work?' and your Guide will explain the difference between the Personal Log and Creative Workspace in character.
AI Coaches & Interactions
Converse with your team of specialized AI advisors.
Topic-Based Chats
Engage in focused conversations with different coaches. You can chat with your main Mentor for life advice, your Financial Coach for money matters, and your Guide for informal support. Chats are organized by topic to maintain context.
Example: Start a new chat topic called 'Negotiating My Salary' with your main coach to get specific advice and role-play the conversation.
Motivations (Voice Chat)
For a quick motivational boost, use the voice chat feature. State your problem, and your mentor will respond with a short, empowering audio message to help you reframe your mindset.
Example: Before a tough meeting, you can say 'I'm nervous about this presentation.' Your coach will reply with a voice note like 'Confidence is a choice. Walk in there knowing you are prepared. You've got this.'
@Mentions
When writing in your journal or adding notes to tasks, use the '@' symbol to mention people from your People list. This automatically links the note to that person's personal journal, creating a unified timeline of your interactions.
Example: In your journal, write 'Had a great lunch with @Sarah today.' This note will now appear in Sarah's personal journal timeline on the People page.
Journal
Your space for private reflection and idea generation.
Personal Log
Entries here are analyzed by the AI to identify patterns and suggest micro-quests. This is where you reflect on your day and challenges.
Example: After writing about feeling anxious, the AI might suggest a micro-quest like 'Try a 5-minute breathing exercise next time you feel overwhelmed'.
Creative Workspace
A complete sandbox for your ideas, stories, and notes. The AI does *not* analyze entries here.
Example: Draft a blog post, write a poem, or outline a business idea without any AI intervention.
Review My Day
An AI function that reads all of your 'Personal Log' entries for the day and provides a summary, identifies patterns, and offers actionable advice.
Example: If you've journaled about procrastination multiple times, the Review might point out this pattern and suggest creating a habit quest to tackle it.
Habit Creation
Cards to create micro-quests for building positive habits or tackling negative ones.
Example: If you want to read more, use the 'Build a Positive Habit' card. Describe your goal, and the AI will create a quest like 'Read for 10 minutes before bed'.
Finance
A comprehensive, offline-first suite for managing your financial life.
Dashboard
A visual overview of your net worth, spending by category, and recent transactions.
Example: Quickly see if your 'Food' spending for the month is higher than usual with the pie chart.
Transactions
Manually log income and expenses. The AI can also parse transactions from natural language.
Example: Manually add a transaction for your salary, or use the AI parser by typing 'Got paid 50000 for my salary'.
Accounts
Track your assets (e.g., bank accounts, investments) and liabilities (e.g., loans).
Example: Add your Savings Account as an asset and your Car Loan as a liability to get a clear picture of your net worth.
Recurring Payments
Set up and track recurring bills like rent, subscriptions, and EMIs.
Example: Add your monthly Netflix subscription to get reminders and see its impact on your cash flow.
Goals
Create savings goals and allocate funds to them. This automatically creates a linked Quest.
Example: Create a 'Vacation Fund' goal. As you add funds to it, a linked quest on your dashboard will update your progress automatically.
Documents
A secure, private space to note the location of important physical documents like wills or insurance policies.
Example: Note 'Car insurance papers are in the blue file in my office drawer' so you always know where they are.
AI Insights & Knowledge
Get behavioral insights on your spending habits or ask educational questions about financial concepts.
Example: Ask the AI 'What is a mutual fund?' to get an educational answer without any financial advice.
Health
A private log to track physical symptoms and well-being.
Health Log
Create entries for symptoms, observations, or health events. You can add follow-up entries to track a symptom over time.
Example: Log 'Headache' with 'medium' severity. The next day, add a follow-up entry with 'low' severity to track its progression.
Reports & Prescriptions
Attach scanned health reports or prescriptions to a log entry for context.
Example: After logging a 'Fever' symptom, add the doctor's prescription to the same entry.
Scan Document
Use your camera to scan a document. The AI will transcribe the text and extract key information like medications and diagnosis.
Example: Scan your blood test report. The AI will extract the key values and attach the full transcribed text as notes to your health log entry.
Analyze Log
The AI will analyze a specific health log thread (an initial entry and all its follow-ups) in context of your entire profile to find potential correlations and offer non-medical, lifestyle suggestions.
Example: Analyze your 'Headache' log. The AI might notice it correlates with days you skipped meals and suggest a micro-quest to ensure you eat regularly.
Day Planner
Your tool for strategic daily scheduling.
Daily Briefing
Generate a time-blocked schedule for today. The AI integrates your quests, tasks from your calendar, daily context, and even your energy levels to create an optimized plan.
Example: If your check-in shows you had poor sleep, the generated briefing will be lighter, with more breaks scheduled.
Analyze Day
After generating a briefing, the AI can analyze its own plan for realism and offer suggestions for optimization.
Example: The analysis might suggest moving a difficult task to the morning because your profile indicates you have more energy then.
Context & Scheduling
Add one-off events (e.g., appointments) or schedule full days off (e.g., vacation, sick day). This information is used by the AI to create a more accurate and realistic daily plan.
Example: Add a 'Dentist Appointment' for today. The AI will automatically schedule around it when generating your Daily Briefing.
Recurring Tasks
Manage your recurring real-life commitments (e.g., pick up kids from school, water plants) that are part of your life's baseline, not a specific quest.
Example: Add 'Pick up kids from school' for 4 PM on weekdays. This will appear on your daily schedule without needing to be part of a larger quest.
People
A private CRM for your personal and professional life.
Add Relationship
Add friends, family, colleagues, or other contacts. This gives your AI coach context about the important people in your life.
Example: Add 'Jane Doe' as a 'Colleague' to help the AI understand context when you mention her in your journal or task dependencies.
Personal Journal
Each person has their own private journal tab. Notes here are automatically updated when you mention them (@name) in other parts of the app, creating a unified timeline of your interactions.
Example: If you add a task dependency 'Waiting for approval from @JohnSmith', that note automatically appears in John Smith's personal journal.
Holistic Analysis
Unlock deeper, personalized guidance by providing optional birth and health data.
Planetary Positions
Based on your birth date, time, and location, the AI generates a 'Cosmic Blueprint' describing your inherent nature, strengths, and life path tendencies.
Example: After filling in your birth details, the AI might generate a blueprint suggesting you have strong communication skills but a tendency towards impatience.
Holistic Profile
Based on a questionnaire about your mind-body constitution, the AI generates an 'Analysis Summary' of your energetic tendencies according to Ayurvedic principles.
Example: Completing the questionnaire might result in an analysis suggesting you have a 'Fiery-Driven' constitution, which is prone to burnout if not managed.
Combined Analysis
The AI synthesizes both reports with your entire user profile to provide deep, actionable recommendations across health, career, and relationships.
Example: The full analysis could connect your 'Fiery-Driven' nature with your 'Headache' health log and 'Stress' wellness score, then recommend cooling foods and calming meditation techniques.
Profile
Manage your core information and application settings.
Mentor & Language
Change your AI Role Model or preferred language at any time.
Example: If you're starting a new fitness journey, you could switch your mentor from 'Harvey Specter' to 'Virat Kohli' to get more discipline-focused advice.
Life Context
Update your definition of success, current role, or daily schedule to keep your coach aligned with your life.
Example: Change your definition of success from 'climbing the corporate ladder' to 'starting my own business' to receive more entrepreneurial-focused guidance from your coach.
Security & Data
Update your API key or security PIN. You can also export your data from here.
Example: If you get a new computer, export your data from your old device and import it on the new one to continue your journey seamlessly.
